The Caribbean is famous for Rum and having the perfect climate for growing its chief ingredient, Sugar Cane. The traditional history of modern Rum tells of its invention in the 17th century in the Caribbean by Africans on sugar plantations.
Our rum is produced at the Belfast Estate, where in the late 1800’s sugar cane was being crushed utilising a water mill that can still be seen today.
This source allows us to stand on the shoulders of over 100 years of Rum making tradition.
Bleu Magic Rum is a product of Dominica, the nature island of the Caribbean and one of its best kept secrets. Its lush rainforest, beautiful waterfalls and towering mountains were once home to the Maroons and their Chief Jacko whose story is an inspiration to the potent and pure product Bleu Magic making it truly The Spirit Of Rebellion.
